Partnerships Specialist – Muskoka Funds (Fixed‑Term, P‑3)

About the role
The Partnerships Specialist will support the Muskoka Multi‑Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) in Dakar, helping to sustain and expand a successful regional health initiative. Working under the Regional Public Partnerships Adviser, the incumbent will act as a key interface for resource mobilisation, knowledge exchange and policy influence across West and Central Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in mobilising resources and attracting new donors for the MPTF.
- Coordinate the Muskoka MPTF Technical Committee and support the high‑level Steering Committee.
- Conduct environmental scanning and provide strategic insights to inform partnership decisions.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange among UNICEF, UNFPA, UN Women, WHO and other partners.
- Prepare briefing notes, reports and communication materials for senior stakeholders.
Required profile
- Professional experience at P‑3 level or equivalent in partnership development, donor relations or resource mobilisation.
- Demonstrated understanding of maternal, newborn and child health programmes in West and Central Africa.
- Ability to work in a multi‑agency environment and coordinate high‑level committees.
- Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
