Parts Coordination Management Coordinator

About the role

Wärtsilä is seeking a dynamic Parts Coordination Management Coordinator to join its global Parts and Field Service team for a 12‑month fixed‑term assignment in Dakar, Senegal. Working within a hybrid model, you will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth spare‑parts quotation, ordering, and delivery processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main customer contact for spare‑parts quotations, orders, deliveries, and non‑conformities.
• Coordinate quotes and orders according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain the quality of spare‑parts sales documents and follow up on expiring quotes.
• Monitor the order book, propose ideas to accelerate deliveries, and communicate delivery status to customers.
• Liaise with Sales on offering content, terms, and customer‑specific solutions.
• Prioritize daily activities and urgent requests with relevant colleagues.
• Provide off‑hour support for spare‑parts (24‑hour service).

Required profile

• Graduate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP/ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and supply‑chain processes.
• Customer‑service orientation and service‑mindset.
