People Partner – Support

About the role

Wave Mobile Money is looking for a People Partner to support its call‑center team in Senegal. You will work closely with the Support department to align HR strategy with business objectives and foster an employee‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate HR strategy with Support OKRs, including talent development, change management and reporting line adjustments.
• Drive organisational effectiveness through structure redesign, employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Support performance management processes: regular feedback, 1:1s, coaching, OKR tracking and performance evaluations.
• Audit sick‑time records, manage benefit and health reviews, and ensure accurate HR system updates.
• Handle work accommodation requests, absenteeism issues and overtime compliance.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, resignations, terminations and exit interviews.
• Promote employee engagement through recognition programs, team‑building activities and career development conversations.

Required profile

• Degree in HR, Labour Law or related field.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management, recruitment and employee experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with credibility and integrity.
