Programme Management Advisor – Sanitation & Menstrual Health

About the role
The Programme Management Advisor will support the Global Technical Lead for Sanitation and Menstrual Health Markets by providing strategic advice and thought leadership to strengthen the enabling environment for market‑based approaches in Senegal.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic engagement with government counterparts and public institutions to position and implement the SHF programme.
- Represent SHF with senior decision‑makers and coordinate with development partners, investors and private‑sector actors.
- Develop policy briefs and technical assistance to integrate sanitation and menstrual health priorities into national and sub‑national investment plans.
- Plan and coordinate stakeholder forums, advising leadership on critical engagement opportunities.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and support resource mobilisation for programme delivery.
Required profile
- Proven experience in strategic engagement, policy development and coordination within the sanitation or menstrual health sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies, development partners and private‑sector stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the Senegalese public‑policy environment and investment planning processes.
