Research Associate – Analytics & Implementation Research

About the role

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a Research Associate to support analytics and implementation research across its global health programs. The role combines epidemiological analysis, cost‑effectiveness modeling, and program evaluation to help country teams prioritize interventions and improve health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine cost‑effectiveness analyses for candidate programs across CHAI’s portfolio.
• Conduct rigorous literature reviews to pressure‑test program theories of change.
• Apply quantitative methods to identify priority programs, efficiencies, and geographic targeting opportunities.
• Collaborate with program and country teams, as well as government counterparts, to monitor and evaluate ongoing initiatives.
• Prepare clear analytical reports and visualizations to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Public health or related graduate degree with strong analytical training.
• Experience conducting epidemiological analyses and health economic evaluations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in diverse settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
