Senior Manager / Consultant – Wholesale Voice & Mobility

About the role

Tata Communications is seeking a Senior Manager/Consultant to lead customer account management for its Usage Based Services (UBS) portfolio, covering Voice, Messaging and Mobility Core solutions across the West African region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Negotiate contracts, respond to RFPs and close agreements to maximize profitability and market share.
• Drive both farming and hunting activities, identifying new business opportunities within existing client bases and prospecting new customers.
• Monitor daily traffic, manage price negotiations and supplier relationships to grow volumes and revenue.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop strategic deals such as corridor agreements, managed voice services and SMS monetisation.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with MBA preferred, specialised in Sales or Marketing.
• 10+ years of regional wholesale voice and mobility sales experience, including forecasting and pipeline management.
• Proven ability to build executive‑level relationships with MNO/MVNO, aggregators, carriers and CPaaS/CCaaS providers.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with a results‑driven, revenue‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English and proficient in French and/or Arabic.
