About the role
The Senior Railway Operations Specialist will lead the design and implementation of transport plans for both single and double track railway lines in Senegal. This role ensures safe and efficient traffic management, especially during construction works and operational phasing.
Key responsibilities
- Design comprehensive transport plans for railway networks.
- Manage single and double track traffic operations.
- Develop operational phasing strategies during maintenance and construction works.
- Apply knowledge of Senegalese railway project constraints and General Safety Regulations.
- Maintain close liaison with stakeholders and coordinate with internal teams.
Required profile
- Railway operations engineer or manager with at least 10 years of experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Fluency in French is essential.
- Senegalese nationality preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
