Supply Chain Internship

About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a motivated intern to support its supply chain operations in Senegal. Working under the Regional Supply Chain Officer, the intern will assist various units in managing procurement and logistics activities in line with IOM policies.
Key responsibilities
- Consolidate procurement requisition forms and verify completeness against the Purchase Authorization Matrix.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, soliciting bids and quotations, and compiling bid analysis summaries.
- Monitor open requisitions, follow up on timely delivery of goods and services, and coordinate with receiving units.
- Support the preparation of procurement reports and documentation as directed.
Required profile
- Between 20 and 36 years old with less than two years of relevant work experience.
- Enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or graduated within the last 12 months.
- Interest or academic background in supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
- Eligible for a scholarship or internship requirement for academic completion, or sponsored by a relevant institution.
