Transport Economist/Traffic Specialist

About the role

The Transport Economist/Traffic Specialist will lead the economic and traffic analysis of transport projects, delivering robust studies and modelling to support decision‑making for our clients. The role involves liaising with various stakeholders, managing project teams, and ensuring high‑quality deliverables within tight timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct traffic studies and economic analyses for transport projects.
• Perform detailed origin‑destination (OD) surveys and traffic demand modelling.
• Carry out cost‑benefit analyses using appropriate techniques.
• Prepare reports and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Liaise with stakeholders and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with methodological standards and data quality.
• Support business development through technical expertise.

Required profile

• Degree in Transport Engineering or Economics; a Master’s degree in transport engineering or transport economics is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in traffic surveys, OD studies, traffic demand modelling and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Fluency in French is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team management, presentation, and communication abilities.
