About the role
Mentor Me In Tech is seeking a dedicated Volunteer HR Specialist to support its growing tech mentorship community. This role focuses on building a healthy team culture, streamlining volunteer onboarding, and enhancing overall people operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment, screening, and onboarding of volunteers and team members.
- Develop and maintain clear role descriptions and team structures.
- Support team engagement, communication, and performance management.
- Coordinate internal policies, documentation, and HR processes.
- Track volunteer participation, attendance, and accountability.
- Handle basic conflict resolution and provide team support when needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve team operations and culture.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years experience in HR, recruitment, administration, or people operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Availability of at least 10 hours per week.
- Passion for mentorship, education, and community development.
