Ending Violence against Women and Girls Intern

About the role
The Ending Violence against Women and Girls (EVAW) team at UN Women Senegal is seeking an intern to support its work in mapping psycho‑social support services and developing guidance materials. The intern will work closely with the EVAW coordinator and contribute to the team’s activities in Dakar.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and map psychologists, psycho‑social workers, institutions and organisations providing support to survivors in Senegal.
- Develop and maintain a database of experts and potential partners.
- Identify existing tools, protocols and practices used in psycho‑social support services.
- Assist in drafting technical sheets, guidance notes and reference materials related to psycho‑social support.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of practical tools for field teams.
- Participate in EVAW activities, meetings, workshops and related events.
- Provide operational and coordination support for required activities.

- Ability to work alongside and support the EVAW team.
- Motivation to contribute to ending violence against women and girls.
