Senior Project Associate – Regional Data Hub

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Senior Project Associate to support the Regional Data Hub initiative. You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring project activities that enhance migration data management across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of Regional Data Hub activities.
• Compile, summarize, analyse and present data and regional data products, highlighting critical issues.
• Monitor budget implementation, track expenditures and propose adjustments as needed.
• Serve as the focal point for administrative coordination, liaising with internal units and external partners.
• Draft status reports, correspondence, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables and other documentation.
• Organise meetings, workshops and training sessions; prepare materials and support capacity‑building delivery.
• Respond to complex information requests and maintain regional data repositories and documentation systems.
• Participate in meetings and conferences, maintaining effective liaison with authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in project coordination, data analysis and budget monitoring.
• Strong administrative and liaison skills with the ability to work across diverse units and external partners.
• Excellent written communication for drafting reports, briefings and correspondence.
